About The Project

We had previously laid the sub base of gen 3 pump mix for Brian back in March 2023. We then came back to lay Mr hawkins floor screed over underfloor heating in July.

The Client’s Challenge

There were numerous rooms within the property to navigate around for Mr Hawkins floor screed, amounting to 173m² in total.

Our Approach And Solution

11m3 of cemfloor therm liquid screed laid at a depth of 50mm over underfloor heating. Being over 100m2 we made sure expansion joints were fitted in the right place to help with movement within the floor. Access was ok but we did have numerous rooms within the property to navigate around. As always we started at the furthest place away and set out 2 laser levels to help aid us in keeping the levels right. We used 3 inch pipe which is a bit more flexible than the 4inch. Once all the screed was in and level we dappled finish the product.

Finally, we cleaned down leaving the site nice, clean and tidy.
