For Mr Sparkes concrete pump, We arrived early to pump concrete foundations for a new rear extension. The footings were already in place to receive the concrete – we shuttered and prepared for the pump.

The project involved a total concrete volume of 12m³ which the client arranged through Rock Solid Concrete.

The Client’s Challenge

The home had a large driveway leading to the side entry and on into the garden, requiring a decent pipe length to reach.

Our Approach And Solution

After arriving 45 minutes early to set up Mr Sparkes concrete pump, we decided to route our pipework via the side access to the house and out to the rear. The footings were already dug at a meter deep with the oversight being 450mm down from DPC. This enabled us to fill the footings to the same height as the oversight. We laid our pipes to the furthest point so we could snap back as we fill the footings with very little manual labour.
